Why We're Different

At DDC, we do not believe that communications programs have to be prohibitively expensive to be highly effective. We are a results-driven company so it makes sense that we tie our fees directly to the deliverables we generate for our clients. DDC utilizes a combined scope-of-work and pay-for-performance compensation structure that provides a far greater value to the client than traditional hourly billing. In short, we focus our considerable energy and resources toward securing results for the client rather than simply generating high-cost billable hours. Direct Design Communications provides a low-risk, high return-on-investment alternative to the mega firms that bill by the hour, not by the deliverable. We also offer a level of personal, hands-on client service that many larger firms have abandoned.

Client-Friendly Compensation Structure
The client and the DDC team will analyze the project and objectives, and determine an agreeable retainer, which will come in well below the industry standard. Moving forward, the client will pay DDC pay-for-performance fees as it secures specific client-determined deliverables –– from company profiles in the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post to executive-outreach speaking engagements to lucrative new sales accounts. Whether the client’s budget is $5,000 or $5 million, or whether the client needs execution in five markets or 50, our team will develop a high-impact, customized strategic communications plan to meet and exceed the client’s goals. We focus our resources only in the places you need it. We do not believe in scattershot campaigns, where resources are blanketed rather than pinpoint-targeted. This approach produces fast results and keeps costs down. So if you find yourself in a jam, DDC can scramble the jets and move the needle in record time –– and do so at an affordable rate.
